Sandra Lee Indof – Rostraver Township

ROSTRAVER TOWNSHIP Sandra Lee Indof, 79, of Rostraver Township, passed away on Thursday, April 9, 2026. Born in North Charleroi on March 15, 1947, she was the daughter of the late Frank Sheary Jr. and Irene Jugan Sheary. Sandra was a loving wife, mother, sister and dear friend to all. She worked at Mellon Bank and Citizens Bank, retiring after 31 years. After her retirement, she worked as a cashier for Shop ‘n Save and then the Flying J Travel Center in Smithton. She loved crafting, gardening and shopping, but more than anything, she loved her family and spending time with them. Sandra attended Journey By Grace Church in Rostraver. She is survived by her children, Marianne (Scott) Wassil of Rostraver and Michael (Ann) Indof of Pittsburgh; grandchildren, Aaron Indof, Sarah (Tyler Judy) Indof, Jakob Wassil, Abby Tonkovich and Jonathon Tonkovich; great-granddaughter, Iris Hagood; brother, Michael (Pam) Sheary of Germantown, Md., and their children, Judy Russell and Matthew Sheary; sister, Marlene Elliott of West Newton and her daughter, Tonya Rebar; as well as numerous nieces and nephews of the Indof family. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Donald J. Indof; and infant sisters, Maryann and Judy Sheary. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, April 16, 2026, at JAMES C. STUMP FUNERAL HOME INC., 580 Circle Drive, Rostraver Township, 724-929-7934, www.jamesstumpfuneralhome. com, where a funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday with Pastor Bill Bailey officiating. Interment will follow in West Newton Cemetery.
