Carolyn J. Koher – Charleroi, formerly of Belle Vernon

CHARLEROI, FORMERLY OF BELLE VERNON Carolyn J. Koher, 89, of Charleroi, formerly of Belle Vernon, went to be with the Lord, Friday, April 3, 2026, at her daught e r ’ s home in Fayette City. A daughter of the late John B. and Annabelle Dulaney Orndoff, she was born in Waynesburg on Jan. 18, 1937. A lifelong resident of Belle Vernon, Carolyn was a member of First Christian Church in Belle Vernon. A homemaker, she enjoyed sitting outside, doing crosswords, coloring and sewing. She loved her cat, Charlie. She is survived by two daughters and a son-inlaw, Deborah and James Owens of Fayette City and Robin Koher of Belle Vernon; four grandchildren, Jimmy (Roni Jo) Owens, Jason (Jill) Owens, Miles Pierce and Sara (Kevin) Konwick; four great-grandchildren, Bradyn Pierce, Josephine Owens, Jameson Owens and Owen Konwick; a sister, Nora Smolick of Finleyville; and a brother, Jim Orndoff of North Carolina. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Marion “Buddy” Koher on Dec. 20, 2011; a daughter, Betty Jean Pierce; two grandsons, Christopher Huweart and Eric Huweart in infancy; a sister, Reva Murray, and five brothers, John Orndoff, Wayne Orndoff, Robert Orndoff, Jerry Orndoff and Robert Shethler.
