Myrtle Ann Bistle Price – Port Orchard, Wash., formerly of Charleroi

PORT ORCHARD, WASH., FORMERLY OF CHARLEROI Ann Price, 89, passed away on Saturday, March 14, 2026. She was born June 4, 1936, in Finleyville, Pa., to Robert and Mabel Bistle. Ann was a 1955 graduate o f Clairton High School and secretarial school in Pittsburgh. She married Charles L. Price on June 8, 1957, and they shared 58 years of marriage until his passing in 2015. Charlie built their home in Fallowfield Township, Charleroi, where they raised their family. Ann was proud to be a homemaker and mother volunteering many hours at her children’s schools, churches, sporting events and other activities. She was elected to several terms as one of the auditors for Fallowfield Township. In 1992, Ann and Charlie retired to Sequim, Wash., to enjoy the beautiful Pacific Northwest. In 2010, they moved to Port Orchard, Wash., to be closer to their children and grandchildren. Ann’s favorite pastime was visiting with her children and grandchildren. She also enjoyed travel, reading, ceramics, cross stitching, cooking and baking. Ann attended many churches throughout her life, including Pleasant View United Methodist Church of Finleyville, First United Methodist Church of Charleroi and Trinity United Methodist Church of Sequim, Wash. She is survived by her children, David Price (Noreen) of Eagle River, Alaska, Susan Smith (Terrence) of Temple, Texas, and SallyAnn Wickham (Kelly) of Port Orchard, Wash.; six grandchildren, Charleeann Smith-Jones (Joshua), Timothy Smith (Samantha), Amanda Wickham, Amelia Price, Rylee Price and Sarah Price; two great-grandchildren, Tucker and Brynn Smith; siblings, Russell Bistle and Lynn Jameson; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, parents and siblings, Georgetta, Jean, Yvonne, Robert and Thomas. Ann will be dearly missed and remembered. Her family finds comfort knowing she is reunited in Heaven with her devoted husband, Charlie, and all those who loved her.
