Vehicle theft, attempted break-ins reported in Monessen

Monessen police Chief Dave Yuhasz is reminding motorists to keep their vehicles locked at all times following a car theft Friday morning and several attempted breakins.

Yuhasz said a car that was stolen from the 400 block of Reed Avenue was recovered in Charleroi. Several other attempted break-ins were reported on the 100 block of Reed Avenue and Aliquippa Avenue.
