Double shooting under investigation

Allegheny County police were called to investigate a double shooting in McKeesport on Thursday evening.

Allegheny County Police Department’s Homicide Unit responded to a request for assistance at 5:45 p.m. after receiving a report that two individuals were shot near the intersection of Banker Street and Indiana Street.

One victim suffered multiple gunshot wounds and was transported to an area hospital.

A second victim, a juvenile, suffered a graze wound. Detectives are initiating the investigation.

Anyone with information concerning this incident is asked to call the county police tip line 1-833-ALLTIPS. Callers can remain anonymous.
