Mon River Arts to stage ‘Once Upon a Mattress: Youth Edition’

The production will debut at 7:30 tonight at the Grand Theatre in Elizabeth.

Mon River Arts will present “Once Upon a Mattress: Youth Edition” at the Grand Theatre in Elizabeth.

“Once Upon a Mattress” is a hilarious and heartwarming twist on The Princess and the Pea. Packed with clever comedy, catchy songs, and lovable characters, this classic musical follows the bold and unconventional Princess Winnifred as she turns a proper kingdom upside down and helps a shy prince discover true love.

Perfect for families and audiences of all ages, “Once Upon a Mattress” is a joyful, feel-good night of theatre that is full of laughter, charm, and a happily-ever-after you won’t forget.

Show times are 7:30 p.m. tonight (pay what you can day) and Friday; 2 p.m. and 6 p.m. Saturday and 2 p.m. Sunday All tickets are $15.
