Loretta Jean Geary Yancoskie – Rostraver Township

ROSTRAVER TOWNSHIP Loretta Jean Geary Yancoskie, 95, of Rostraver Township, passed away Sunday, March 1, 2026, in Mon Va l l e y Care Center. She was born Jan. 31, 1931, in Moness en, daughter of the late George W Geary and Lillian McCahon Geary. She was a 1949 graduate of Rostraver High School, a past member of the Washington Township Women’s Auxiliary and was a member of Holy Spirit Church in Fayette City. Loretta was an avid Penguins and Steelers fan and loved to cook and bake for her family and friends. She is survived by her son, James (Linda) Hutchison of Rostraver Township; as well as several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, one great-great grandson, nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; loving husband of 26 years, Joseph Yancoskie; son, Donald (Ricky) Hutchison; son, David Yancoskie; grandson, Ricky Lee Hutchison; granddaughter, Amber Yancoskie; sisters, Eleanor Burke and Janice Francis; and brothers, Lawrence, James, Robert William and David Geary. Friends will be received from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, March 4, 2026, at ELEY-MCCRORY FUNERAL HOME, Fayette City, Pa., www.eleymccroryfuneralhome.
