Alan J. Reis – Claysville, formerly of Monongahela
CLAYSVILLE, FORMERLY OF MONONGAHELA Alan J. Reis, 69, of Claysville, formerly of Monongahela, passed away peacefully sur rounded by his family on Sund a y , March 1, 2026, at home in Clays ville. He was born May 24, 1956, in McMurray, son of Aloysius and Ann Lanham Reis of Washington. He was a 1974 graduate of Ringgold High School and a member of St. Andrew the Apostle Parish, Mononaghela, where he sang in their church choir, helping with marriage preparation classes and volunteered his time with the parish festival. Alan worked for several years as a bricklayer for his family business, then retired from the U.S. Steel Clairton Works as a ceramic welder. He enjoyed music, traveling, hunting and was a member of the Arroas Haymakers Association in New Eagle. In addition to his parents, he is survived by his wife, Debra Donaldson Reis, whom he married July 26, 1981; a son, Michael Movahedi of Bethel Park; a daughter, Tiffany and Randy Bebout of Monongahela; three brothers, Michael (Laurie) Reis of Canonsburg, Joseph (Rebecca) Reis of La-Cross, Wis., and Bryan (Carolyn) Reis of West Virginia; two sisters, Elizabeth (Joseph) Beckus of West Alexander and Kelly (Paul) Simile of Claysville; two grandchildren, Hannah and Gavin Bebout; and one great-grandson, Oliver Bebout.
