Rose Marie Capul – Rostraver Township

ROSTRAVER TOWNSHIP Rose Marie Capul, 86, of Rostraver Township, passed away peacefully with family on Tuesday, Feb. 3, 2026. Born in West Elizabeth on Jan. 2, 1940, she was the daughter of the late James and Agnes Giamaresi Vigilotti. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, Anthony Capul. A member of the Church of St. Anne in Rostraver, Rose Marie was a bookkeeper until becoming a homemaker. She enjoyed reading, old movies, and doing brainteasers, especially word puzzles. She is survived by her sister and brotherin- law, Agnes “Dolly” Vota and Larry Vota of Elizabeth Township; cherished godchildren, Laurie, Jim, Alex and Michael; her treasured nieces and nephews and their families; and her much beloved kitties, Little Prince and Little Princess. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at JAMES C. STUMP FUNERAL HOME INC., 580 Circle Drive, Rostraver Township, 724-929-7934, www.jamesstumpfuneralhome. com, where a blessing service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday followed by a Funeral Mass at 11 a.m. in the Church of St. Anne with the Rev. Joel Sayson presiding. Interment will follow in Round Hill Cemetery.
