David Albert Shedlock – East Deer Township, formerly of Donora

EAST DEER TOWNSHIP, FORMERLY OF DONORA David Albert Shedlock, 68, of East Deer Township, formerly of Donora, died on Monday, Jan. 26, 2026. He graduated from Monongahela Valley Catholic High School and California University. He majored in communications and was employed as a radio D.J. He returned to Cal U for another degree, which led to employment at Westinghouse Corp. and Zoll Corporation. He retired from Zoll on Jan. 6 of this year. Dave is survived by his sister, Janice; brother, John (Teresa); as well as cousins and nephews. He enjoyed golfing, traveling and watching the Steelers. He had many true and faithful friends, to whom the family will always be grateful. We would like to thank the doctors, nurses and all the staff members of St. Margaret and Shadyside Hospitals for their care of David. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at RUSIEWICZ OF LOWER BURRELL FUNERAL HOME, 3124 Leechburg Road at Alder Street, where funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday. Burial will be private in St. Dominick Cemetery, Donora.
