Kellen Edwin Hodge – California

It is with heavy hearts and profound gratitude for a life well lived that we announce the passing of Kellen Edwin Hodge, who dep arted this world peace fully on Jan. 21, 2026, at the age of 68. Born on June 6, 1957, in Pittsburgh, son of the late Edwin and Ruth Link Hodge, Kellen was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend, whose legacy will forever resonate in the hearts of those he touched. Kellen dedicated many years of his life to the steel industry, proudly working at ATI as a skilled steelworker. His strong work ethic and unwavering commitment to his craft were emblematic of his character and reflected his deep love for his family and community. Kellen was a member of the California Young Men’s Club, the Daisytown Athletic Club, the Allegheny Chapter of Soccer Officials and Baldwin Community Methodist Church. He leaves behind a loving family who will cherish his memory: his devoted wife, Susan Wilson Hodge; and his son and daughter-inlaw, Jeremy and Tanya Hodge. Kellen took great joy in being a grandfather to his cherished grandson, Jackson Hodge. He is also survived by his siblings, sister, Jessica Hodge and brother, William Hodge; as well as his brother- in-law, Stewart Wohlrab; and numerous nieces, nephews and friends. Kellen’s life was a testament to resilience and love, and although we grieve his passing, we choose to celebrate the incredible person he was. A series of gatherings will honor Kellen’s memory and the impact he had on all our lives. Family will receive friends at MARISCOTTI FUNERAL HOME INC., Anthony N. Mariscotti, supervisor, 323 Fourth St., California, Pa., from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday Jan. 23, 2026. Kellen will forever hold a special place in our hearts, and his spirit will continue to inspire us all.
