Cynthia S. Romito – Monessen, formerly of Monongahela

MONESSEN, FORMERLY OF MONONGAHELA Cynthia S. Romito, 69, of Monessen, formerly of Monongahela, died Wednesday, Jan. 14, 2026, in Penn Highlands Mon Va l l e y Hospital. She was born Jan. 21, 1956, in West Newton, the daughter of William and Della Fawcett Corbett. Cindy was a 1974 graduate of Ringgold High School. For several years, she and her husband, Paul, resided in Warsaw, Ind., where Cindy found employment working at a nursing home. They moved back to the Mon Valley in 2007. Cindy had numerous nieces and nephews that she helped raise and made sure that she loved and cared for them all. They all held a very special place in her heart. Cindy is survived by her husband, Paul E. Romito, with whom she celebrated 35 years of marriage on Feb. 17, 2025; siblings, Bob (Leslie) Corbett, Kathy Hamilton and Kim (Dave) Barkey, all of Monongahela, and Kevin (Cass) Corbett of Oahu, Hawaii; brother-inlaw, Jim Gray of Camp Hill;
