Value City Furniture to close all locations in Western Pa.

By the MVI

Value City Furniture and American Signature Furniture are going out of business.

All retail stores will be permanently closing — including those in Western Pennsylvania.

Value City Furniture’s parent company, American Signature, Inc., filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy in November. All remaining stores are now being liquidated.

There are four Value City Furniture stores in the area affected, according to the store locator:

• 1400 Park Manor Blvd. in Robinson.

• 451 Clairton Blvd. in West Mifflin.

• 3801 William Penn Highway in Monroeville.

• 20111 Route 19 Suite B in Cranberry.

There is only one other store in Pennsylvania affected: the Value City Furniture store at 5047 Jonestown Road in Harrisburg.

Customers can take advantage of store closing sales, which are now underway while inventory lasts, according to the announcement.

All sales are final, and returns and exchanges are not accepted. Gift cards are no longer accepted.

Refunds are not being offered on deposits if someone’s item is no longer available, the company said.

However, if the store is unable to fulfill an order that someone placed a deposit for, they may be able to file a claim.

If people have questions regarding a recent order, they should call 888-751-8552.
