Rose Marie Lesovic – North Belle Vernon

NORTH BELLE VERNON Rose Marie Lesovic, 77, of North Belle Vernon, passed away on Thursday, Jan. 8, 2026. Born in Belle Ve r n o n on May 12, 1948, she was a daughter of the late Mike and Anna Tadavich Wassilchalk. She was a member of St. Mary’s Byzantine Catholic Church in Monessen, where she taught CCD for many years and was very active in their Ladies Guild and the Catholic Daughters Group. Mrs. Lesovic loved playing on her iPad, doing word searches, enjoyed traveling and had a love for Disney World. She was a social butterfly who loved people and was involved in many groups and activities in her life. She worked as an auditor for 38 years at First Federal Savings and Loan. Surviving to cherish her memory are her husband of 55 years, Edward W. Lesovic; her son, Scott Lesovic of North Belle Vernon; and her brother, Mike (Carol) Wassilchalk of Belle Vernon. Arrangements have been entrusted to ANTHONY L. MASSAFRA FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATION SERVICE INC., 40 Second Street Ext., Carroll Township/ Donora, PA 15033, 724-379-6900, where the family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 11, 2026. Services will be held Monday, Jan. 12, 2026, beginning with a 9:30 a.m. Panachida in the funeral home, followed by a 10 a.m. Funeral Liturgy at St. Michael Byzantine Catholic Church, 511 Murray Ave., Donora, PA 15033, with the Rev. Father Brian Norrell officiating. Interment will follow at Mon Valley Memorial Park, Donora. A Parastas service will be held in the funeral home at 7:30 p.m. Sunday.
