Joseph Chiaravalle

SMITHTON, FORMERLY OF MONESSEN Joseph Chiaravalle, 90, of Smithton, formerly of Monessen, died on Dec. 28, 2025, at Grandview Estates, Elizabeth, Pa. He was born on Aug. 3, 1935, to the late Tony and Frances Mauro Chiaravalle. He was Catholic by faith, a former member of Monessen Elks and Monessen Lions Club and a proud Marine. Joseph is survived by his wife of 65 years, Lorraine Ambrose Chiaravalle; sons, Jeffrey (Marleen) Chiaravalle and Brian (Anita) Chiaravalle; daughter, JoAnn Chiaravalle; granddaughter, Amanda (fiancé Teddy Potter) Chiaravalle; and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Bernie, Tony and Ronnie Chiaravalle; and his sister, Emily Zboyovsky. Friends will be received from 2 to 5 p.m. Friday, Jan. 2, 2026, at DALFONSO-BILLICK FUNERAL HOME INC. AND CREMATION SERVICES, 441 Reed Ave., Monessen, PA 15062. Services will begin at 11 a.m. Saturday in the funeral home. Interment will be in Grandview Cemetery at a later date. Online condolences may be left for the family at www.dalfonso-billick.com.
