Clifford J. Yerkey

ROSTRAVER TOWNSHIP Clifford J. Yerkey, age 83, of Rostraver Township, passed away peacefully on Sund a y , Dec. 28, 2025. He was born o n March 24, 1942, in McK eesport. Cliff is survived by his loving and devoted wife of 60 years, Patrine Pizzutelli Yerkey. He was the proud father of Jennifer (Rick) Keyes, Brett Yerkey and Chad (Hannah) Yerkey of Rostraver Township; and a loving Pop Pop to his seven grandchildren and their spouses, Elizabeth (Luke) Keyes, Patrick (McKenna) Keyes, Marley Yerkey, Aubrie Yerkey, Brock, Riley and Ellie Yerkey; as well as three great-grandchildren, James, Mary Claire and a baby girl expected in April. Cliff is also survived by his brother, Dennis (Lola) Yerkey; several nieces and a nephew; and former daughter-in-law, Danielle Yerkey. Cliff was preceded in death by his parents, John and Agnes Popowitz Yerkey; his father-in-law and mother-in-law, John and Mary O’Leary Pizzutelli; and his brother-in-law and sisterin- law, John and El Reta Pizzutelli. Cliff was a member of the Monongahela High School Class of 1961 and a graduate of Marshall University in Huntington, W.Va., where he earned a degree in business. After graduation, he worked and co-owned Motor Supply Company Inc. and six other auto parts stores in the Mon Valley and Pittsburgh areas before retiring in 2006. He loved spending time with his family and friends. He was an accomplished pilot and enjoyed flying his airplane with his brother and friends. He also enjoyed cars, traveling, photography and helping others. He was a faithful member of the Church of St. Anne, where he served as a Eucharistic minister for many years. Cliff was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather and friend. He always had a smile and a kind word for everyone he met and was an eternal optimist.
