Angeline M. Kosmo – Rostraver Township

ROSTRAVER TOWNSHIP Angeline M. Kosmo, 96, of Rostraver Township, died Monday, Dec. 22, 2025. Born in Collinsburg on Oct. 10, 1929, she was the daughter of the late Steve and Angeline Bremsak Povirk. Angeline was a jewelry manager for Goldstock Jewelers in Pittsburgh for over 30 years. She was a member of the Church of St. Anne in Rostraver and the Slovene National Benefit Society. She was a hospital volunteer for the former Mon Valley Hospital; and she also volunteered at Jefferson Hospital and was recognized for volunteering for 25 years. She loved watching professional football, especially the Pittsburgh Steelers. She is survived by nephews, John (Olga) Kowalcheck of Pittsburgh and Gary (Lisa) Povirk of Massachusetts; and nieces, Teresa (David) Slimak of Elizabethtown and Roberta (Gary) Darr of Pittsburgh. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by husband, Stephen P. Kosmo in 2001. Friends will be received from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. Monday, Dec. 29, 2025, at JAMES C. STUMP FUNERAL HOME INC., 580 Circle Drive, Rostraver Township, 724-929-7934, www.jamesstumpfuneralhome. com, where a blessing service will be held at 10:30 a.m. followed by a funeral Mass at 11 a.m. in the Church of St. Anne with the Rev. Joel Sayson presiding. Interment will follow in West Newton Cemetery.
