Louis C. ‘Rusty’ Fine Jr. – Monongahela (Forward Township)

MONONGAHELA (FORWARD TOWNSHIP) Funeral services were held for Louis C. “Rusty” Fine Jr., 61, of Monongahela (Forward Township), who passed away unexpect-edly on Tuesday Dec. 9, 2025, at Penn Highlands Hospital, Carroll Township. He was born Oct. 5, 1964, in New Eagle, a son of Linda (Mardis) Fine of Monongahela (Forward Township) and the late Loius C. Sr. Rusty was a 1981 graduate of Elizabeth Forward High School and served in the U.S. Army stationed in Germany. For the past 18 years, he worked as a mechanic for Morgan Excavating. Rusty was an avid hunter and fisherman and was known for his bonfires with his friends and family at their house. In addition to his mom, he is survived by his wife, whom he married Sept. 11, 1993, Anne (Tesznar) Fine; a son, Adam and his fiancé Nicole Dreistadt of West Mifflin; a daughter, Julie (Eric) Gogoel of North Versailles and their daughter Ruby Anne Gogoel; four brothers, Lee (Angel) Fine of Canonsburg, Larry Fine (Donna Welsh) of Finleyville, Len Fine of Charleroi and Lon (Christina) Fine of Forward Township; a sister, Lynn Laracuente (Brian Deforrest) of Utica, N.Y.; his mother and father-in-law, Phillip and Frances Tesznar of Monongahela; and a special cousin and neighbor, Pete (Arlene) Fine of Monongahela, along with many loving aunts, uncles and cousins.
