Penn Highlands Mon Valley to host visit from Santa and Christmas tree raffle

The event is set for Dec. 17 at the Carroll Township hospital.

Penn Highlands Mon Valley invites the community to bring their children to enjoy cookies and hot chocolate with Santa at the Carroll Township hospital at 6 p.m. Dec. 17.

Santa will also be on hand to draw the winning tickets for the hospital’s Christmas Tree Raffle. There is still time to buy tickets to win one or more of the 10 artificial Christmas trees decorated by hospital departments.

The colorful trees reflect various themes, from candy canes to the Grinch to a lady’s dress. There are also elegant trees with assorted colored lights and ornaments. The cost is $5 for six tickets. Santa will pull the 10 winning tickets at the event at 6 p.m. Proceeds will benefit hospital programs.

Due to the closure of the parking garage, those attending the event should plan to park in the lot beside the Anthony M. Lombardi Education Conference Center or the employee lot behind the parking garage.

Giveaways and refreshments will be provided.

For more information, call 724-258-1339.
