The California Area Historical Society will host the first concert by the California Area School District’s Violin Club at 7 p.m. Thursday at the Gallagher House, 429 Wood St. The students created their own violins with the help of California Area School District Superintendent Dr. Laura Jacob, who has been teaching them to play.
