Women work on a Jeep assembly line at Willys-Overland Motors plant in Toledo, Ohio, on Dec. 2, 1941. The Jeeps were used by U.S. Army personnel to tow heavy caliber anti-tank guns and to transport troops. The Jeeps had four-wheel drive and were powered with 63-horsepower, four-cylinder engines.
