Vulcans advance past Virginia Union

RICHMOND, Va. — California (Pa.) capitalized on two early turnovers and held the nation’s leading rusher below his season averages to earn a 27–24 victory over third-seeded Virginia Union on Saturday afternoon in the first round of the NCAA Division II Playoffs at Hovey Field.
