Retired Brig. Gen. David Papak uses a sword to cut the cake alongside Wally Fronzaglio at the 2024 Mon Valley Leathernecks Marine Corps Ball. This year’s ball, celebrating the 250th birthday of the Marine Corps, is set for 5 p.m. today at the at the Valley Inn Social Hall, 34 Snyder Ave., Monongahela.
