Joseph Henry Hubauer – Forward Township

FORWARD TOWNSHIP Joseph Henry Hubauer, 80, of Forward Township, passed away Thursday, Nov. 6, 2025, at Penn Highlands Mon Va l l e y Hospital. He gradu ated from Clarion Limestone High School in 1963 and embarked on a 42-year career as a bricklayer and bricklayer foreman with Arnold Lee Masonry and Harris Masonry. A former member of First Presbyterian Church of Elizabeth, he enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren, building a camp in Clarion, family vacations, hunting, bike riding, gardening and spending time with his dogs. He demonstrated the value of hard work, was loving, had a sense of humor and mentored family and friends. Born June 27, 1945, in Clarion, he was a son of the late Joseph E. and Jessie Swarm Hubauer. He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Bonnie Montgomery Hubauer; children, Jeffrey S. (Kimberlee) Hubauer of Thousand Oaks, Calif., and Denise (Kenneth) Lerro of West Mifflin; grandchildren, Thomas Hubauer of Norwich, Conn., Robert Hubauer of Thousand Oaks, Calif., Katelyn Hubauer of New London, Conn., Joseph Huntoon of West Mifflin and Jason Huntoon of West Mifflin; sisters, Bernadette
