Charles Robert Kirlin – Rostraver Township

ROSTRAVER TOWNSHIP Charles Robert Kirlin, 88, of Rostraver Township, died Tuesday, Oct. 28, 2025, in Jefferson Hospital. He was born July 25, 1937, in Meadowlands, the son of Paul Michael and Sara Anne Ankrom Kirlin. Charles was a chemist at U.S. Steel and retired with 28 years of service. He was a member of the Army National Guard and St. Sebastian Parish in Belle Vernon. He is survived by two sons, Robert and Donald Kirlin; two grandsons, Josh and Justin Kirlin; siblings, Sally, Barbara, Kathy, Janet and Father Bernie. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Mary; and brothers, Walter and Joseph “Mike.” There will be no visitations at the funeral home. Family and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:30 a.m. Friday, Oct. 31, 2025, at St. Sebastian Church, 801 Broad Ave., Belle Vernon, PA 15012, with the Rev. Michael Thomas as celebrant. Interment will follow in Sacred Heart Cemetery, Carroll Township. Arrangements are entrusted to FRYE FUNERAL HOME INC., Monongahela. Memorial contributions may be made to American Cancer Society of Western PA, 320 Bilmar Drive, Pittsburgh, PA 15205. Expressions of sympathy may be made to the family at www. fryefuneralhome.com.
