Andrew T. Frank – Carroll Township

CARROLL TOWNSHIP Andrew T. Frank, 65, of Carroll Township, passed away on Monday, Oct. 20, 2025, at Jefferson Hospital after a battle with Alzheim e r ’ s disease. He was born in Washington on Feb. 9, 1960, a son of Andrew J Frank of Smithfield and Beatrice Shaposka Riggs of The Villages, Fla. Andy was a 1978 graduate of Beth Center High School and received his Bachelor of Arts in 1982 from Waynesburg College. He worked in the banking industry for several years and then went on to work at D&A Auto Auction and Perryopolis Auto Auction. He ended his working career with Charleroi Area School District. For many years he was a volunteer fireman at the Richeyville Volunteer Fire Dept Co. No. 27 and left as an assistant chief. He was a member of the NRA, the Roscoe Gun Club and the Charleroi Slavic Club. Andy was a Steelers and Penn State fan, an avid lover of music, especially the music of The Mavericks, Jimmy Buffett and Elvis Presley. He enjoyed deer hunting, vacations and was an enthusiast of history, especially the Civil War and World War II. In addition to his parents, he is survived by his wife, Dr. Lynn Pavlic; a daughter and son-in-law, Amanda Jo and Joshua Melhorn of Washington; a grandchild due this month; two brothers, John (Jackie) Frank of Irwin and Robert (Marcy) Frank of Scenery Hill; sisterin- law, JoAnn Pavlic of Roscoe; “brother-in-law,” Joseph Zmijowski of Charleroi; several nieces and nephews; one great-niece; one great-nephew; and two grand dogs, Bennett and Scarlet. The family would like to especially thank his P.A., Alyssa Gibino, for all her help and the doctors, staff and hospice team at Jefferson Hospital.
