James E. Martin – Rostraver Township

ROSTRAVER TOWNSHIP James E. Martin, 84, of Rostraver Township, passed away peacefully on his farm on Mond a y , Sept. 15, 2025. Born in Rostraver Township on April 23, 1941, he was the son of the late George A. Martin III and Margaret I. Miller Martin. James was a lead airplane inspector for US Airways and retired after 38 years of service. He was a faithful member of West Newton Methodist Church, and he loved God, his family, his farm and his cars. James was a loving husband and father. He is survived by wife of 38 years, Diane L. Koch Martin; children, Eric Martin, Laura Rousseau, Lorraine (Joe) Ritter, Jill (Richard) Skrinjorich, Tammy (Paul) Williams, Kathleen (Michael) Gilliland and Christy Molnar; 16 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; siblings, Gary (Karen) Martin and Debbie (Ron) Medina; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by siblings, George A. Martin IV, Wendy Boyd and Jennie Maisano. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m Wednesday at JAMES C. STUMP FUNERAL HOME INC., 580 Circle Drive, Rostraver Township,724-929-7934, www.jamesstumpfuneralhome. com, where a funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday with Pastor Jesse Verner and Captain Sue Thwaite co-officiating. Interment will follow in Mon Valley Memorial Park.
