Sherry L. Hora – Rostraver Township

ROSTRAVER TOWNSHIP Sherry L. Hora, 71, of Rostraver Township, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, Sept. 7, 2025. A daughter of the late Rud olph and Gene vieve Bianchi S t r inghill, she was born in North Charleroi on July 11, 1954. A realtor for over 30 years in the Mon Valley, retiring in 2020, Sherry was a member of Community of Christ Church in Fayette City. She was a loving mother, had a great sense of humor, enjoyed family gatherings, travelling and motorcycling with her late husband. She liked flowers and gardening and loved her cats, Tigger and Jamesy. She is survived by two sons, Alex J. Hora of Pittsburgh, and Eric R. Hora of Brooklyn, N.Y. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Alexander J. Hora Jr. on Aug. 14, 2002; a daughter, Jennifer L. Hora, on Sept. 1, 2012; and a brother, Richard Wagner. A private visitation was held at FERGUSON FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATORY INC., 700 Broad Ave., Belle Vernon, 724-9295300, www.FergusonFuneralHomeandCrematory. com. Funeral services were private with Thomas Hamer officiating. Interment was in Belle Vernon Cemetery.
