To address respiratory health in the Mon Valley, Allegheny Health Network (AHN) and Highmark Health’s Institute for Strategic Social and Workforce Programs (S2W) are partnering with local football associations to launch “Huddle 4 Health.” This program will offer free chronic obstructive pulmonary disorder (COPD) screenings for adults and asthma screenings for children younger than 18 at three events in August. Huddle 4 Health is made possible through the generous financial support of the Jefferson Regional Foundation, underscoring their commitment to improving community health in Mon Valley.
