Gustina J. ‘Tina’ Rossi – Carroll Township (Mar-Rick Manor)

CARROLL TOWNSHIP Gustina J. “Tina” Rossi, 89, of Carroll Township (Mar-Rick Manor), passed away peace fully on Sunday, Aug. 10, 2025, at her home. Born in North Charleroi on Aug. 30, 1935, she was a daughter of the late Camillo and Leonilda Carozza Jackman. She was a 1953 graduate of Charleroi High School and a 1956 graduate of California Teachers College of Pennsylvania. Mrs. Rossi had a love for children and taught elementary education for 30 years. She taught at the former Sampson Star School in Carroll Township from 1956 to 1961, prior to its merger with Ringgold School District. After raising her son, Joel, she went back to teaching, primarily at the Fallowfield and Charleroi Area Elementary Center. She was a member of the National, Pennsylvania and Washington County Education Associations and was active with the Catholic College Women’s Club, Charthene Club, the Hospital Auxiliary, and her dear Rosary Club. Tina loved her family and helping others. She was a great baker and cook who enjoyed working
