Finleyville VFD carnival opens

Nicholas Raco, 6, of Finleyville sticks out his tongue as he rides the swings Monday evening during opening night of the Finleyville Volunteer Fire Department Carnival. The ride is one of several attractions offered at the annual event, opening at 6:30 p.m. nightly. The menu will include specials, until sellout. Bands will play nightly at 7 p.m. and will include This Indecision tonight, EZ Action on Thursday and Push on Friday. A parade will be held at 7 p.m. today. Fireworks will be displayed at dusk Friday. Bingo is held nightly. Ride all night passes are $25 per night, single ride tickets will also be available.
