No paper July 4

The Mon Valley Independent won’t produce a newspaper or electronic edition on Friday to mark the Independence Day holiday. The editorial department will return at 4 p.m. Friday to gather and accept news and death notices for publication in Saturday’s print edition. Our business office will be closed Friday and we will resume our regular business hours at 8 a.m. Monday.
