Russell G. Bentz – Rostraver Township

ROSTRAVER TOWNSHIP Russell G. Bentz, 88, of Rostraver Township died Tuesday May 27, 2025, at Westmoreland Manor, Greensburg. He was born April 28, 1937, in Alverton, East Huntingdon Township, son of the late Frank and Lucy Colbert Bentz. He was the owner of After Hours Printing in Belle Vernon, was employed at Lee Norse Co. in Charleroi, worked for numerous area newspapers, and was a veteran of the U.S. Army serving in Germany. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Emily Boulton Bentz. He was the last member of his immediate family being predeceased by brothers, C. William, Frank R., Terry, John, James, Gerald and Kenneth; and sister, Gail Brayo. He is survived by his daughter, Leslie Popp and husband Eric of Rostraver; granddaughter, Kelly Jones and husband Richard of North Fayette; niece, Christy Horning and husband Craig of Harpers Ferry; and many neices and nephews. As per Russell’s wishes, there are no services. L. L. BARTHELS FUNERAL HOME INC., Smithton, in charge of arrangements.
