McKeesport mural touched up for Good Neighbor Day

Volunteers spent Sunday afternoon refreshing a mural in the former Cox’s parking lot and adding colorful crosswalks to Fifth Avenue in downtown McKeesport in anticipation of the community’s annual Good Neighbor Day to be held June 11. The mural is a collaboration of Mon Valley Arts, Better Block and the City of McKeesport designed to create a public art space that the city can use long term. Comocrea Johnson / McKeesport Community Newsroom
