James ‘Jim’ Norman Godfrey – formerly of Newark, Ohio

James “Jim” Norman Godfrey, 92, of Perry, Ga., formerly of Newark, Ohio, passed away peace fully on May 5, 2025. He was born on Jan. 25, 1933, to the late Harry and Edna Griffith Godfrey in Speers, Pa. Jim worked as a mathematician at Newark Air Force Base, Ohio, retiring in 1992 after 30 years of federal service. Jim also sold real estate in Newark, along with his wife, Pat, for 30 years.
