No. 11 Rams upset No. 6 Blackhawk, will face EF next

Tyler Fisher twirled a gem and Paul Dzyak and Demetri Lowe each drove in a pair of runs.

The Ringgold Rams pulled the stunner in the first round of the WPIAL Class 4A playoffs Wednesday, knocking off No. 6-seeded Blackhawk, 9-5, to set up a quarterfinal matchup against section rival Elizabeth Forward.

Gavin Angotti set the table with three hits and three runs scored out of the top spot in the order and Tyler Fisher got the win on the mound for Ringgold.
