New Donora pavilion to honor Towler

He was an NFL star with the Rams in the 1950s after being a standout at Donora High School.

Donora council approved several motions Thursday regarding a new pavilion that will be built at the Donora Palmer Park. Council unanimously approved naming the new pavilion in honor of the late “Deacon” Dan Towler, a former Donora High School football player who went on to play for the Los Angeles Rams.
