Melvin Nickolich passed away peacefully on May 2, 2025, at The Hallsworth House in Monessen after spending a beautiful final day in the sunshine with his beloved granddaughter, Elaine, sipping a chocolate milkshake and visiting with his cherished niece, Gloria, and dear friend, Janis. His kindness and gentle spirit will be deeply missed by all who knew him. Born in 1932, in Monessen, Melvin was drafted into the U.S. Army in 1952 and served with the 61st Military Police Battalion.
