Crosby joins Canada for IIHF World Championship
The tournament will be played primarily in Stockholm starting Friday.
Sidney Crosby will play postseason hockey, after all.
On Sunday, Hockey Canada announced via social media that the Pittsburgh Penguins forward was added to that country’s roster for the upcoming International Ice Hockey Federation’s (IIHF) World Championship tournament.
This past regular season, Crosby, 37, led the Penguins with 91 points (33 goals, 58 assists) in 80 games.
