McKeesport Area to vote on new AI policy

The district is incorporating recommendations from the state School Board Association.

The McKeesport Area school board announced at Thursday’s meeting that they’re planning to adopt a new Artificial Intelligence policy for students.

As AI has become more prominent in everyday life, school districts have begun adopting new AI policies for the classroom. Assistant Superintendent Matthew Mols said they’re trying to adhere with guidelines set by the Pennsylvania School Board Association.
