Sparks fall on EFHS classroom

District officials say students were quickly evacuated from the area.

A video posted to Facebook Thursday afternoon showed sparks coming from the ceiling of an Elizabeth Forward High School classroom amid construction and renovation projects.

Workers are still repairing damages from the Feb. 12, 2023, fire that destroyed the school’s auditorium, band and choir rooms.
