BVA addresses whooping cough case at Rostraver Elementary

The CDC is reporting twice as many cases around the country compared to 2024.

Belle Vernon Area Superintendent Dr. Timothy Glasspool issued a statement Thursday about a whooping cough case at Rostraver Elementary.

Glasspool said the district was notified by the Pennsylvania Department of Health that there was a case of pertussis, commonly known as whooping cough, in one of the second-grade classes at Rostraver Elementary School.
