White Oak welcomes new officer

Jeremy Zuber was sworn in at Monday’s council meeting.

White Oak swore in a new police officer at Monday night’s council meeting.

Jeremy Zuber, who previously worked for the McKeesport Police Department, was sworn in by Mayor Ina Jean Marton.

“We’re very happy to have him as an officer, so it should be exciting for us,” Marton said.

Borough Manager John Palyo said the swearing in at the public meeting is ceremonial.
