Police say Jay Din Eleam barricaded himself inside a home on Leeds Avenue in Monessen.

Gunfire and an hours-long police standoff rocked a quiet Monessen neighborhood Friday morning and led to the arrest of a Brownsville man.

Monessen police, along with state police, Charleroi Regional and Rostraver Township police, attempted to execute a search warrant at a Leeds Avenue residence where Jay Din Eleam was believed to be staying.
