DA Walsh presents donation to substance recovery unit at Penn Highlands

Washington County District Attorney Jason M. Walsh announced Thursday that opioid settlement funds were presented to the Penn Highlands Hospital Substance Recovery Unit. Walsh presented the $20,000 check to Penn Highlands Hospital Regional President — Southwest Region Josh LaFleur and Substance Recovery/Detox Unit Director Kelly Macheska, who will use the funds to provide care in their Level 4.0 inpatient and substance withdraw center located within the Carroll Township-based hospital.
