• Ringgold teachers continued to man the picket lines around district buildings as their strike moved into its 10th day. Ringgold Education Association President Joseph Imbriale said he hopes his members will soon be back in the classroom. He is hopeful because for the first time since the teachers went out on strike Feb. 22 the teachers and the school district are returning to the negotiating table. Imbriale said, “Obviously we’ve been saying all along that we want to get back to the negotiating table as soon as possible. We’re interested in sitting down at the negotiating table until this situation it resolved. I’ve always been optimistic. We go into the negotiations with the hope of resolving the issues.”
