• Ringgold’s teachers could be off the picket line and back in their classrooms as soon as March 9. Superintendent Ed Repka said that the State Department of Education has submitted a letter to the board of mediators saying that the teachers must return on March 8 to still complete the mandatory 180 days of instruction. Teachers must comply with Act 88 of 1992 requiring them to return to school. Union president Joseph Imbriale said that the teachers have yet to hear from the board of mediators.
