Valley firefighters participate in ice/water rescue drill on Lake Somerset

Lake Somerset is completely frozen, but that didn’t stop emergency crews from getting in the water and training for ice emergencies Saturday. Firefighters from Charleroi and Donora were among about 80 first responders from Pittsburgh, Greensburg, Clearfield, Johnstown and Somerset who participated in the drill, hosted by the Somerset County Department of Emergency Services.
