After squeaking past No. 8-seed Elizabeth Forward Wednesday, the top-seeded Belle Vernon boys look to advance to the WPIAL Class 4A championship as they take on No. 4 Avonworth today in a semifinal at Peters Township’s AHN Arena. Tipoff is set for 3 p.m., the last of a scheduled tripleheader.
