Matthew Tkachuk tried to work through injury

BOSTON (AP) — Matthew Tkachuk did not play for the United States in the third period or overtime against Canada in the 4 Nations Face-Off championship game on Thursday, and it’s unclear how his injury might affect his return to the Florida Panthers when the NHL season resumes.
